Abstract

La invención se refiere a una placa de corte (12) para una herramienta (10) para el mecanizado por arranque de virutas de una pieza de trabajo, con un filo (22) y una perforación de placa de corte (32), extendiéndose la placa de corte (12) a lo largo de una dirección longitudinal de placa de corte (18). La perforación de placa de corte (32) se extiende a lo largo de un eje de perforación (36) que discurre ortogonal a la dirección longitudinal de placa de corte (18). La placa de corte (12) presenta una elevación (30) lateralmente sobresaliente. En la elevación (30) están dispuestas una superficie de contacto con el portador lateral (40a), una superficie de contacto con el portador axial (42) y una superficie de contacto con el portador horizontal (44a) para poner en contacto la placa de corte (12) con un portaherramientas (14). La superficie de contacto con el portador lateral (40a) discurre ortogonal al primer eje de perforación (36). La superficie de contacto con el portador axial (42) y la primera superficie de contacto con el portador horizontal (44a) discurren ortogonales a la superficie de contacto con el portador lateral (40a) y transversalmente la una a la otra. La invención se refiere, además, a un portaherramientas (14) con un alojamiento (54) para la placa de corte (12), estando previsto en el alojamiento (54) un rebaje (56) que presenta superficies de contacto (56, 58, 60) que se corresponden con las superficies de contacto de la placa de corte (12), y a una herramienta (10) formada por la placa de corte (12) y el portaherramientas (14).
