Abstract

Sistema y método de autenticación del transporte que incluye un dispositivo de identificación electrónico del vehículo configurado para conectarse en un vehículo que está registrado para el uso en transporte disponible o agendado con una organización de proveedor de servicio ("SPO") para obtener información de identificación vehicular del vehículo, tal como a través de la conexión a un puerto OBD del vehículo. La información de identificación vehicular obtenida se transmite a una SPO para la comparación con información de autenticación de la identificación retenida por la SPO. Después se transmite un aviso de un pasajero o propietario del paquete potencial para notificar al individuo que el vehículo es un vehículo auténtico, autorizado para el servicio de transporte.
