Abstract
Una hoja de acero que comprende, en % de peso, 0.04=C=0.30, 0.5=Mn=4, 0=Cr=4, 2.7=Mn+Cr=5, 0.003=Nb=0.1, 0.015=A1=0.1 y 0.05=Si=1.0, tiene una química que produce una hoja formada con calor después de la austenización insensible a la tasa de enfriamiento y asegura una distribución uniforme de resistencia a tracción, en el rango de 800-1400 MPa, a través de las partes, independientemente de la duración entre las operaciones y el enfriamiento/templado. Como resultado, una parte formada se puede enfriar mientras está dentro de un molde o en el aire. La adición de Nb reduce la cantidad de C necesaria para obtener una resistencia a tracción dada y mejora la capacidad de soldadura.
