Abstract

La invención es concerniente con un método para transmitir datos de comunicación pequeños y poco frecuentes entre, por una parte, una pluralidad de dispositivos de comunicación de Internet de cosas y por otra parte, una red de comunicación móvil, la red de comunicación móvil comprende una red de acceso red central, en donde la red de acceso comprende por lo menos una célula de radio y una entidad de estación base asociada con la célula de radio, la entidad de estación base comprende un equipo de antena, en donde el equipo de antena se usa para recibir y/o transmitir los datos de comunicación pequeños y poco frecuentes, en donde los dispositivos de comunicación de Internet de cosas usan señales electromagnéticas de radio frecuencia que son recibidas por el equipo de antena de la entidad de estación base para transmitir los datos de comunicación pequeños y poco frecuentes por lo menos en la dirección de los dispositivos de comunicación de Internet de cosas hacia la entidad de estación base, en donde el tamaño de carga útil de los datos de comunicación pequeños y pocos frecuentes es menor de 10 kilobytes y/o los datos de comunicación pequeños y poco frecuentes tienen una velocidad de bits promedio, por intervalo de tiempo de por lo menos 60 minutos, menor que 10 Bd (10 bits por segundo), en donde la red de comunicación móvil provee servicios de comunicación móvil - que involucran datos de comunicación móvil que tienen velocidades de bits de por lo menos 9.6 kBd (9600 bits por segundo) y usar el equipo de antena o un equipo de antena adicional de la entidad de estación base - a suscriptores móviles de la red de comunicación móvil, en donde la interfaz aérea entre la entidad de estación base y los suscriptores móviles comprende una pluralidad de canales de frecuencia dentro de por lo menos una banda de frecuencias para proveer los servicios de comunicación móvil, en donde el método comprende la etapa de que la entidad de estación base transmite los datos de comunicación pequeños y poco frecuentes, por lo menos parcialmente, como parte de la porción de carga útil de un paquete de IP hacia un nodo de red de la red central.
