Abstract

Un aparato, y un método relativo, para producir un producto casi-terminado comprendiendo una tira de compuesto de sellamiento para construir llantas, comprendiendo por lo menos un elastómero de termoplástico de estireno insaturado, una resina de unión y un agente de enlazamiento cruzado; en donde el aparato comprende una mezcladora continua que comprende una cámara interior para recibir los componentes del compuesto de sellamiento y para mezclar continuamente estos hasta que el compuesto de sellamiento sea obtenido; un dispositivo regulador teniendo una cámara interior respectiva y acoplado en serie con continuidad estructural a la mezcladora continua, hacia abajo de esta última; una bomba de engranaje teniendo una cámara interior respectiva y un sistema de engranajes albergado en la cámara interior respectiva, y acoplada con continuidad estructural al dispositivo regulador hacia abajo de este último, una cabeza de extrusión acoplada directamente y con continuidad estructural a la bomba de engranaje, hacia abajo de esta última, en una manera tal para recibir en la entrada el compuesto de sellamiento desde la bomba de engranaje y entregar en la salida el componente de sellamiento en una forma de una tira teniendo un tamaño transversal predeterminado, en donde el dispositivo regulador recibe el compuesto de sellamiento desde la mezcladora continua y suministra a la bomba de engranaje.
