Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para determinar la capacidad de los recipientes (1), el método consiste en utilizar un aparato de tomografía computarizada de rayos X (10) para adquirir una pluralidad de imágenes de rayos X (I) del recipiente en diferentes anglos de proyecciones. De acuerdo con la invención, las imágenes de rayos X se analizan para: - construir un modelo del recipiente a partir de las imágenes de rayos X; - determinar la superficie interior del modelo digital del recipiente; - colocar un plano del nivel de llenado en el modelo digital del recipiente paralelo a la superficie de soporte y a una distancia nominal desde la parte superior del modelo digital del recipiente; y - medir calculando el volumen interior del modelo digital del recipiente según lo definido por la superficie interior del modelo digital y por el plano del nivel de llenado, esta medición es la capacidad de llenado del recipiente.
