Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso integrado para procesar y utilizar cada parte de la planta de Guayule (Parthenium argentatum) que comprende los siguientes pasos en secuencia: - separar el tallo y las ramas (3) de las hojas (2) de esta planta con un tratamiento mecánico (1); tratar las hojas (100) para producir ceras y aceites esenciales (102), y una fracción (101) que contiene celulosa, hemicelulosa (carbohidratos) y, a menor medida, sales, compuestos orgánicos y lignina; - extraer (200) del tallo y las ramas una fase liquida (4), formando de esta manera un primer residuo leñoso sólido (5), indicado con bagazo en el presente texto; tratar este primer residuo leñoso solido (5) para preparar azucares, resina, caucho y lignina.
