Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a el sistema de monitoreo óptico de sangre y un método correspondiente evitan la necesidad de obtener un valor de intensidad exacto de la luz que choca sobre la capa de sangre medida durante el análisis. El sistema opera para determinar por lo menos dos mediciones ópticas a través de las capas de sangre de diferentes espesores. Debido a la equivalencia de los sistemas, las dos mediciones pueden compararse de manera que se puede calcular el coeficiente de extinción de masa de la sangre con base solamente en los espesores de capa de sangre conocidos y las dos mediciones de varios parámetros de sangre puede entonces determinarse sin ciertos pasos de calibración.
