Abstract

Se pueden identificar secciones discretas de un artículo tubular. Para cada sección, se obtienen al menos una medición de un diámetro exterior de una superficie exterior de la sección discreta, y al menos una medición de un diámetro interior de una superficie interior de la sección discreta. Además, se obtiene una coordenada de centro geométrico para cada sección discreta del artículo tubular. Se registran las mediciones que definen la superficie exterior, superficie interior, y el centro geométrico en asociación con la posición longitudinal de cada sección discreta.
