Abstract

Se describe una banda de reforzamiento (20) adaptada para la reparación de una canalización de trasporte de fluido (10) en el curso de la cual la banda es enrollada bajo tracción alrededor de la porción de la canalización donde debe tener lugar la reparación, al mismo tiempo que una resina de reticulación es aplicada sobre la banda de manera para constituir un manguito alrededor de la porción a reparar. La banda de reforzamiento comprende al menos un hilo metálico integrado, las propiedades eléctricas del hilo son utilizadas para las operaciones que comprenden la reticulación de la resina, la detección de la porción de la canalización que incluye el manguito o la detección de porciones reparadas de la canalización que han sufrido un aumento del diámetro debido a un adelgazamiento de la pared de la canalización.
