Abstract
The invention relates to a pipe for transporting a petroleum effluent comprising water and at least one acid compound from carbon dioxide CO? and hydrogen sulfide H?S, the pipe comprising at least one mechanical reinforcing metal element (3, 5) and a tubular polymer pressure sheath (2), said metal element (3, 5) being positioned on the outside of said pressure sheath (2), a diffusion barrier (B) being positioned between said pressure sheath (2) and said mechanical reinforcing metal element (3, 5). According to the invention, said barrier (B) comprises at least one metal band (F) wound around the sheath (2) so as to provide a metal overlapping of between 35% and 75% and a polymer material (P) inserted into this overlapping.
