Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a composiciones probióticas que comprenden una o más especies de bacterias en forma de espora, un espesante para formar una suspensión estabilizada y para actuar preferentemente como un prebiótico, uno o más ácidos o sales de ácidos, y opcionalmente un reductor de la actividad del agua. Un sistema para suministrar composiciones probióticas mediante alimentación por gravedad o bomba sin contacto a un punto de consumo por una planta o animal, preferentemente en combinación con agua potable acidificada, que comprende un recipiente colapsable con un tubo acoplable que evita la contaminación de la composición probiótica dentro del recipiente. El suministro puede ser accionado en respuesta a un temporizador, detector de movimiento, sensor de nivel de líquido, etiqueta RFID, u otro mecanismo para suministrar periódica o continuamente una dosis de composición probiótica directamente al suelo que rodee a una planta o al agua o alimento para un animal.
