Abstract

Se provee un dispositivo de codificacion de prediccion de video provisto con una unidad de almacenamiento de imagen que almacena, como imagenes de referencia a ser usadas para la codificacion de una imagen subsecuente, una o mas de las imagenes reconstruidas restauradas de datos de imagen comprimidos y una unidad de control de memoria para controlar un memoria de cuadro en la unidad de almacenamiento de imagen. Cuando el tamano de cuadro de las imagenes de entrada no es de mas de 1/(2^L) (en donde L es un numero entero de uno o mas) un tamano de cuadro maximo de las imagenes, la unidad de control de memoria determina que (2^L) veces el numero maximo de imagenes reconstruidas son almacenables en la memoria de cuadro.
