Abstract
Un método para proporcionar un sistema de aspersión de diluvio (10) en una pluma (12) tal como una pluma que se usa para realizar operaciones de quema en antorcha en un pozo en un extremo de la misma. El sistema de aspersión de diluvio comprende una unidad base (30), un montante (20) y un equipo de boquilla (22); el método comprende fijar el sistema de aspersión de diluvio a una pluma de quemador con una pasarela, de tal forma que quede un pasillo libre de por lo menos 30 cm en la pasarela de la pluma después de que el sistema de aspersión de diluvio ha sido fijado. En modalidades preferidas, el sistema de aspersión de diluvio está fijado al exterior de los soportes de pasamanos de la pluma (lo cual incluye en un solo pasamanos). El sistema de aspersión de diluvio puede tener su propio mecanismo, por ejemplo, un cabrestante, para mover el montante desde una posición replegada hasta una posición operativa, lo que permite una colocación segura y óptima del montante alejado de la operación de quema en antorcha, como se describe aquí. En una modalidad preferida, el montante se proporciona como parte de un miembro móvil que está fijado de manera giratoria a un mecanismo de conexión de la unidad base en un punto de conexión separado y alejado de un extremo del miembro móvil. Esto permite que el miembro móvil tenga un sistema de contrapeso y reduce la cantidad de fuerza requerida para mover el miembro móvil, evitando restricciones mecánicas.
