Abstract

Se describen técnicas para estimar la exposición a la radiación de un paciente durante escaneos de tomografía computarizada (CT). Más específicamente, las modalidades de la invención proporcionan enfoques eficientes para generar un modelo de paciente adecuado usado para hacer tal estimado, enfoques para estimar la dosis de un paciente por interpolación de múltiples simulaciones, y enfoques para que un proveedor de servicio aloje un servicio de estimación de dosis que esté disponible para múltiples proveedores de escaneos de CT.
