Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un catalizador para la oxidación de diesel (DOC) estratificado, que consiste en: a) un sustrato portador; b) un material catalítico para la oxidación de diesel que consiste en: b1) una primera capa colocada sobre el sustrato portador, la primera capa consistente en paladio impregnado sobre un material de soporte que contiene cerio en una cantidad de al menos 45% en peso, con base en el peso total del material de soporte, y como una opción contiene paladio; b2) una segunda capa colocada sobre la primer capa, la segunda capa consiste en paladio y platino cada uno impregnado sobre un material de soporte que consiste en un óxido metálico; en donde la relación en peso de platino a paladio de la primera capa es menor que la relación en peso de platino a paladio de la segunda capa.
