Abstract
Un diferencial de bloqueo incluye un embrague de garras configurado para acoplar selectivamente un portador a un semieje en respuesta a fuerzas magnéticas generadas por la corriente eléctrica en una bobina. Un método para operar el diferencial se adapta para evitar intentos fallidos de engranaje que potencialmente podrían dañar el embrague de garras.
