Abstract
La invención se refiere a un compuesto lubricante y métodos para elaborar el mismo. El compuesto lubricante comprende un medio lubricante y el producto de deshidratación de minerales naturales o una mezcla de minerales naturales o de hidratos sintetizados. El producto de deshidratación contiene óxidos MgO y/o SiC2 y/o Al2O3 y/o CaO y/o Fe2O3 y/o K2O y/o Na2O y tiene un tamaño de partícula en el rango de 100-100000 nm. El método de elaboración del compuesto lubricante comprende una etapa en la cual los hidratos metálicos y/o no metálicos son deshidratados a una temperatura de 300 a 1200°C, una etapa en la cual el producto de deshidratación es estabilizado por mantenerlo a una temperatura de 700 a 1200°C por un periodo de 1 a 3 horas y una etapa en la cual el producto resultante es mezclado con un medio lubricante. El compuesto lubricante resultante no solamente ayuda a reducir la carga en las superficies de fricción, pero también es capaz de realizar la función de refuerzo de superficies de fricción como resultado de la deformación plástica del metal en nanovolúmenes y la capa de superficie se lleva a un estado nanosestructurado activo, la capa de superficie por lo tanto se fortalece. Al mismo tiempo, los granos metálicos bajo fragmentación intensiva, la densidad de los bordes de granos aumenta, y las condiciones para la difusión de carbón profundamente en la superficie (verticalmente) y en los granos (horizontalmente) mejoran.
