Abstract

La presente invención, la cual se relaciona con el campo de las comunicaciones, describe un método y un aparato para notificar un indicador de calidad de canal y un esquema de modulación y codificación de manera que un esquema de modulación mayor que 64QAM puede ser seleccionado, mejorando así el desempeño de un sistema de comunicaciones. El método incluye: aprender, por una terminal, un primer índice CQI de acuerdo a una primera tabla CQI, y enviar el primer índice CQI a una estación base; recibir, por la estación base, el primer índice CQI enviado por el terminal UE, determinar un primer índice MCS de acuerdo con la primera tabla CQI, una primera tabla MCS, y el primer índice CQI recibido, y enviar el primer índice MCS determinado al UE; y recibir, por la terminal, el primer índice MCS enviado por la estación base, y determinar un orden de modulación y un tamaño de bloque de código de acuerdo con la primera tabla MCS y el primer índice MCS recibido, en donde la primera tabla CQI incluye una entrada en la cual un esquema de modulación es mayor que 64QAM, y la primera tabla MCS incluye una entrada en la que un esquema de modulación es mayor que 64QAM.
