Abstract

Se describen modalidades de sistemas y técnicas para determinar la cobertura de la tecnología de acceso inter-radio (inter-RAT) en el manejo de ahorro de energía (ESM). En algunas modalidades, un aparato de manejo de red (NM) puede determinar que se active una célula de origen de una red de una primera RAT para activar un estado de ahorro de energía, y que la célula de origen sea traslapada parcialmente por cada una de una pluralidad de células de una o más redes de una o más RAT diferentes de la primera RAT. El aparato de NM puede instruir a la célula de origen que active el estado de ahorro de energía cuando una combinación de la pluralidad de células provea la cobertura de la célula de origen. Pueden estar descritas y reivindicadas otras modalidades.
