Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para producir elementos de conducción recubiertos con poliuretano y a su uso, con preferencia, en ambientes marítimos, en donde (a) una mezcla de poliisocianato aromático y alifático se mezcla con (b) al menos un compuesto polimérico que tiene al menos dos átomos de hidrógeno que son reactivos a isocianato, (c) extendedores de cadena que tienen una funcionalidad de 2 a 4 y un índice de hidroxilo de 500 a 2500 mg de KOH/g, (d) catalizador y (e) opcionalmente otros auxiliares y/o aditivos para formar una mezcla de reacción, la mezcla de reacción se aplica directa o indirectamente a un sustrato apropiado y se deja reaccionar para formar una capa de poliuretano, en donde el índice extensor de cadena KV de los isocianatos (a) y de todos los compuestos reactivos a isocianato de los componentes (b) a (e) de acuerdo con la fórmula (1) (ver Fórmula) va de 1 a 100, donde M (isocianato aromat.) es la proporción en peso del isocianato aromático, en % en peso, en base a la suma del peso total de ¡socianato usado y compuestos reactivos con isocianato de los componentes (b) a (e), NCO (isocianato aromat.) es el contenido de NCO del isocianato aromático, en % en peso y M (extendedor de cadena) es el peso total del extendedor de cadena, en % en peso, en base a la suma del peso total de isocianato usado y los compuestos reactivos con isocianato en tos componentes (b) a (e). La presente invención también se refiere a elementos de conducción que se pueden obtener por medio de tal proceso.
