Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo para identificar ópticamente el sexo de un cerdo destinado al sacrificio (1), que comprende una cámara de profundidad (2) que tiene una región de adquisición de cámara de profundidad (3), en la cual se puede adquirir una región genital (4) del cerdo destinado al sacrificio (1) y en donde se pueden adquirir coordenadas espaciales, donde se pueden proporcionar las coordenadas espaciales en forma transmisible, y que comprende un dispositivo de posicionamiento (5), por medio del cual se puede posicionar la cámara de profundidad (2) con relación a la región genital (4) del cerdo destinado al sacrificio (1), y que comprende una unidad de evaluación (6), la cual está conectada a la cámara de profundidad (2), y donde se pueden adquirir las coordenadas espaciales proporcionadas por la cámara de profundidad (2) mediante la unidad de evaluación (6) y se puede determinar un sexo fenotípico del cerdo destinado al sacrificio (1) sobre la base de las coordenadas espaciales.
