Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para hacer un artículo revestido sustancialmente transparente tratado con calor (HT) para utilizarse en aplicaciones de puertas de duchas, aplicaciones de ventanas, aplicaciones de partes superiores de mesas o cualquier otra aplicación adecuada. Por ejemplo, ciertas modalidades se refieren a un método para hacer un artículo revestido que incluye un paso que consiste en tratar con calor un substrato de vidrio revestido con por lo menos una capa de o que incluye carbón (por ejemplo, carbón tipo diamante (TLC)) y una película protectora suprayacente sobre la misma. La película protectora puede ser de o puede incluir tanto (a) una capa bloqueadora o barrera de oxígeno y (b) una capa de liberación, en donde la capa de liberación está localizada entre por lo menos la capa basada en carbón y la capa bloqueadora de oxígeno. La capa de liberación es de o incluye oxinitruro de zinc (por ejemplo, ZnOxNz). Después de y/o durante el tratamiento con calor (por ejemplo, templado térmico, o similares) la película protectora puede ser retirada completa o parcialmente. Otras modalidades de esta invención se refieren al artículo revestido pre-HT o al artículo revestido pos-HT.
