Abstract

Se divulgan sistemas y métodos para monitorear un fluido para el propósito de identificar contenido microbiológico y/o microorganismos y determinar la efectividad de un tratamiento microbiológico. Un método para monitorear un fluido incluye contener el fluido dentro de una vía de flujo, el fluido incluye al menos un microorganismo presente en el mismo, interactuar ópticamente radiación electromagnética desde el fluido con al menos un elemento computacional integrado, generando de esta manera luz interactuada ópticamente, recibir con dicho al menos un detector la luz interactuada ópticamente, y generar con dicho al menos un detector una señal de salida que corresponde a una característica del fluido, la característica del fluido es una concentración de al menos un microorganismo dentro del fluido.
