Abstract

Se proporciona un sistema para controlar remotamente una operación de una estación de suministro de combustible. El sistema incluye un dispositivo local. El dispositivo local incluye un GPS configurado para generar automáticamente información de ubicación, un dispositivo de entrada configurado para permitir que el usuario ingrese manualmente información de identificación que identifica una estación de suministro de combustible, un procesador configurado para instruir automáticamente un dispositivo de comunicaciones del dispositivo local para transmitir la información de identificación junto con la información de ubicación y un identificador único a un servidor remoto. El servidor remoto está configurado para generar y transmitir un código de desbloqueo a la estación de suministro de combustible en respuesta a la recepción de la transmisión, en donde el código de desbloqueo hace que la estación de suministro de combustible pueda pasar de un primer estado, en donde la estación de suministro de combustible no puede suministrar combustible, a un segundo estado en el que la estación de suministro de combustible es capaz de suministrar combustible.
