Abstract
Se proporciona un método para evitar que un limpiaparabrisas se congele y se pegue a un parabrisas de un vehículo. El método, en líneas generales, incluye los siguientes pasos: (a) monitorear un estado del limpiaparabrisas; (b) iniciar un temporizador cuando el estado del limpiaparabrisas cambia de un estado apagado a un estado encendido; detectar una temperatura ambiente del vehículo durante un primer período de tiempo después de iniciar el temporizador si el limpiaparabrisas se mantiene en el estado encendido; y (c) calentar una porción del parabrisas donde el limpiaparabrisas queda durante el estado apagado si la temperatura ambiente detectada del vehículo está cerca o por debajo de cero grados celsius.
