Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un recipiente para el cultivo in vitro de material de plantas, por inmersión temporal, dicho recipiente (1) incluye tanto una cámara superior (3), destinada a contener dicho material de plantas (M) que será cultivado, como a una cámara inferior (4), destinada a contener un líquido nutritivo (L), así como un medio (5) para la transferencia temporal de por lo menos una porción de dicho líquido nutritivo (L) de la cámara inferior (4) a la cámara superior (3). De acuerdo con la invención, la superficie inferior (3c1) de la cámara superior (3), destinada a soportar el material de plantas, tiene un área superficial horizontal (S) de 0.02 a 0.07 m2 y la superficie lateral (3a) a la cámara superior (3) tiene una altura (II) de 40 a 130 mm. Dicha combinación de características estructurales hace posible mejorar el acceso a la luz y a la actividad fotosintética de la biomasa, así como a evitar los fenómenos de compactación y estratificación durante el cultivo del material de plantas, con el fin de optimizar el desarrollo del material de plantas.
