Abstract

Una estructura transversal de automóvil que integra un conducto para HVAC con una viga estructural. Una viga de acero superior tiene extremos opuestos unidos a laterales opuestos de la carrocería. Un par de soportes centrales se extienden hacia abajo desde la viga de acero superior. Una unidad de HVAC que sujeta a un soporte central tiene una salida para un flujo de aire para ventilar una región del piso. Un miembro transversal de plástico tiene una placa central sujeta a los soportes centrales, una primera viga hueca se extiende desde la placa central hasta un extremo de la viga de acero, y una segunda viga hueca se extiende desde la placa central hasta el otro extremo de la viga de acero.
