Abstract
Un recipiente para pilas (165) para el control de la temperatura de las pilas consiste en una caja (165H, 165C) consiste en un recinto para recibir una pila (64), en donde al menos una parte de la caja contiene un material aislante térmico para aislar el interior del recinto contra la temperatura ambiente. El recipiente para pilas 165 además contiene un elemento para el control de la temperatura (170, 172) colocado dentro del recinto, en donde el elemento para el control de la temperatura reduce la tasa de transferencia de calor entre el ambiente y el interior del recinto. El elemento para el control de la temperatura contiene un elemento de control activo de temperatura (185). El recipiente para pilas (165) además contiene una unidad de control (60) que en respuesta a una señal que indique la temperatura de la pila controla al elemento de control de temperatura activo (185) para reducir la tasa de transferencia de calor entre el ambiente y el interior del recinto.
