Abstract
En las modalidades de ejemplo de la presente invención, se proporcionan sistemas y métodos que implementan y facilitan la transición gradual, los intersticiales y otros efectos/procesamiento de dos o más elementos en medios en un servicio personalizado de entrega de medios, de modo que cada cliente o usuario tiene una experiencia consistente de alta calidad. Los efectos o procesamiento de transición gradual pueden ocurrir en el lado de la radiodifusión, del editor o del lado del servidor, aunque también pueden ser personalizados para un usuario específico, de esta manera, todavía se permite una experiencia personalizada para cada usuario individual, en un modo en donde la carga de procesamiento es minimizada en el lado corriente abajo o dispositivo de cliente. Este procedimiento permite una experiencia consistente de usuario, de manera independiente de las capacidades del dispositivo del cliente, ya sean estáticas o dinámicas. La transición gradual puede ser implementada después de la decodificación de las codificaciones fragmentarias relevantes de cada clip, procesamiento, nueva codificación y nueva codificación fragmentaria de componente, o, en una modalidad preferida, la transición gradual u otro efecto pueden ser implementados en las codificaciones fragmentarias relevantes para el efecto en el dominio comprimido, de esta manera, es obvia cualquier pérdida de calidad mediante la nueva codificación. Un servicio personalizado de entrega de contenido a gran escala puede ser implementado limitando el procesamiento, de manera esencial, a la primera y última codificaciones fragmentarias de cualquier archivo, debido a que no existe la necesidad de procesar la totalidad del clip. En las modalidades de ejemplo de la presente invención, este tipo de procesamiento puede ser acomodado con facilidad en la tecnología de computación en la nube, en donde el primero y último archivos pueden ser extraídos y procesados, de manera conveniente, dentro de la nube para cumplir con la carga requerida. El procesamiento también puede ser realizado en forma local, por ejemplo, por medio del radiodifusor, con una potencia suficiente de procesamiento para manejar la carga pico.
