Abstract
Se divulga un método para la estimación de las distribuciones de temperatura del subsuelo a partir de un modelo de conductividad térmica tridimensional para una formación geológica caracterizado por las siguientes etapas: a) obtener datos medidos correspondientes a una formación geológica del subsuelo de interés que comprenden datos de prospecciones sísmicas, mediciones de la temperatura en pozos, del fondo marino o del flujo térmico de superficie y mediciones basadas en el laboratorio de la porosidad del núcleo, b) estimar una relación entre la velocidad sísmica y la conductividad térmica, caracterizada por que la velocidad sísmica es linealmente dependiente de la porosidad y la conductividad térmica es exponencial o linealmente dependiente de la porosidad, y c) calibrar dicho modelo para dichos datos medidos en pozos y mediciones basadas en el laboratorio de la porosidad del núcleo.
