Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método caracterizado porque comprende: sacrificar enzimáticamente un material celulósico o lignocelulósico para formar una solución de azúcar con una concentración de azúcar de más de 40% en peso, en donde la solución comprende xilosa y glucosa; entregar la solución de azúcar a una pila microbiana de combustión que contiene un agente anti-escala o un agente antiincrustantes; y utilizar la solución de azúcar en la pila microbiana de combustión.
