Abstract
Se describen métodos y aparato para implementar una red de unidades terminales remotas. Un ejemplo de método implica asignar, mediante un procesador de una primera unidad terminal remota, un primer intervalo de tiempo de un primer marco de un primer horario de transmisión a la primera unidad terminal remota, la primera unidad terminal remota debe estar en comunicación con una segunda unidad terminal remota en una red asociada con un sistema de control de procesos y debe estar en comunicación con un anfitrión del sistema de control de procesos, la primera unidad terminal remota debe comunicar los primeros datos por la red durante el primer intervalo de tiempo, y asignar, mediante el procesador, un segundo intervalo de tiempo del primer marco a la segunda unidad terminal remota, la segunda unidad terminal remota debe comunicar los segundos datos por la red durante el segundo intervalo de tiempo.
