Abstract

Se proporciona una bobina para facilitar la obtención de imágenes de tomografía por inducción magnética de un espécimen, tal como un espécimen de tejido humano, mediante el uso de una única bobina. La bobina puede incluir una pluralidad de lazos circulares conductores concéntricos. Los lazos conductores concéntricos pueden conectarse en serie con trazos de conexión sin permitir que los trazos de conexión distorsionen los campos producidos por la pluralidad de lazos circulares conductores concéntricos. La pluralidad de lazos conductores concéntricos pueden disponerse en múltiples planos (por ejemplo, en una placa de circuito impreso multicapas) como una pila de dos capas. La separación entre los planos o la distancia de separación de los planos puede seleccionarse de manera que la pluralidad de lazos conductores puede tratarse matemáticamente como que se localizan en un plano común para los propósitos de un modelo analítico cuantitativo usado para obtener imágenes de tomografía por inducción magnética.
