Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a nanopartículas de oxaliplatin, que es una sustancia activa soluble en agua; a una composición farmacéutica que la contiene, y a un método para preparar nanopartículas de oxaliplatin administrables oralmente, emulsificando una solución de mezcla lípida en la que están mezclados un lípido sólido y un agente tensioactivo, en una solución de mezcla acuosa, en la que están mezclados el oxaliplatin y un cosolvente específico; y luego separar el lípido sólido y el cosolvente, usando un gas que es un fluido supercrítico. Al proveer el oxaliplatin, que actualmente sólo está disponible en forma de inyección para administración parenteral, en la forma de nanopartículas, la presente invención permite el desarrollo de oxaliplatin administrable oralmente, que es estable contra el ácido gástrico y tiene biodisponibilidad mejorada, mejorando de esa manera el cumplimiento del paciente al evitar la inconveniencia de la inyección y reduciendo en gran medida el costo médico. Puesto que se puede preparar las nanopartículas de oxaliplatin de manera económica usando una instalación que produzca fluido supercrítico, relativamente de bajo costo, puede prepararse mediante un proceso simple, con elevado rendimiento a escala comercial.
