Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento mejorado para la transformación térmica del yeso para convertirlo en semi-hidrato por calentamiento indirecto en lecho de fluidizado, caracterizado porque se efectúa en combinacion y en forma continua: la fluidización continua del yeso finamente divido mediante en gas constituído esencialmente por aire. Se aplica una velocidad de alimentación de gas de fluidización comprendida entre la velocidad minima teórica debajo de aquella en que el lecho está en reposo y aproximadamente seis veces está velocidad; se efectúa un desplazamiento esencialmente horizontal del material de un extremo al otro del lecho fluido simultaneamente con el avance de la reacción deshidratadora. Se efectúa una aportación de calorías mediante elementos calentadores sumergidos en el lecho fluido de tal modo que existe una diferencia de temperatura de varias decenas de °C, entre la temperatura media de cada elemento calentador y el material fluidizado; se efectúa la eliminación del vapor de agua producido por la reacción, y se recoge en el extremo de salida del lecho fluido un producto transformado de una manera practicamente total en semi-hidrato que tiene propiedades convenientes para un emplasto de pre-farbicación.
