Abstract
Se proporciona un método y un sistema para generar un evento microsísmico en un medio de una interacción no lineal para caracterizar el medio. El método incluye generar, por una primera fuente acústica, una primera señal acústica codificada que comprende una primera pluralidad de pulsos dispuestos como una secuencia de tiempo, cada pulso comprende una señal modulada en una frecuencia central, y generar, por una segunda fuente acústica, una segunda señal acústica codificada que comprende una segunda pluralidad de pulsos dispuestos como una secuencia de tiempo, en donde cada pulso incluye una señal modulada y una frecuencia central de la señal modulada dentro de cada pulso en la segunda pluralidad de pulsos es una fracción seleccionada d de la frecuencia central de la señal modulada para el pulso correspondiente en la primera pluralidad de pulsos. El método incluye además incluye recibir, por un receptor, una señal detectada que incluye una tercera señal generada por un proceso de mezclado no lineal a partir de la primera señal acústica y la segunda señal acústica en la zona de mezclado, realizar, por un procesador, procesamiento de datos de la señal recibida, o correlacionar con una plantilla de señal codificada, o ambos, para extraer la tercera señal generada por el proceso de mezclado no lineal sobre ruido o sobre las señales generadas por un proceso de interacción lineal, o ambos, para obtener una señal de evento microsísmico emulado que se ocurre en la zona de mezclado;, y propiedades de caracterización del medio o crear una imagen 3D de las propiedades del medio, o ambos, con base en la señal de evento microsísmico emulado.
