Abstract

Предусмотрены способ и система для исследования пластов породы вне буровой скважины. Способ включает в себя этапы, на которых генерируют первую акустическую волну на первой частоте с помощью первого акустического источника и генерируют вторую акустическую волну на второй частоте с помощью второго акустического источника. Первый и второй акустические источники размещены в локализованном участке буровой скважины. Первая и вторая акустические волны пересекаются в объеме пересечения вне буровой скважины. Способ дополнительно включает в себя этапы, на которых принимают третью акустическую волну на третьей частоте, причем третья акустическая волна сдвига возвращается в буровую скважину вследствие нелинейного процесса смешивания в зоне нелинейного смешивания в объеме пересечения на приемнике, размещенном в буровой скважине. Третья частота равна разности между первой частотой и второй частотой.
