Abstract

Un método para estimar una velocidad del sonido acústico subacuático en una red de nodos acústicos distribuida a lo largo de las antenas lineales acústicas remolcadas y en las cuáles se transmite una pluralidad de señales acústicas entre los nodos, el método comprende las etapas de: obtener dos distancias predeterminadas cada una separa un par de nodos ((A,B), (B,C)) colocados a lo largo de una misma primera antena lineal acústica (31); para cada par del primero y segundo nodos ((A,B), (B,C)), obteniendo una primera duración de la propagación de una señal acústica transmitida entre el primer nodo y tercer nodo (D) colocado a lo largo de una segunda antena lineal acústica (32) y una segunda duración de la propagación de una señal acústica transmitida entre el segundo nodo y el tercer nodo (D) y estimar la velocidad del sonido acústico subacuático en función de dos distancias predeterminadas y la primera y segunda duraciones de propagación obtenidas para cada par de nodos.
