Abstract
Un cuello de cilindro de tren de laminado se sella interponiendo una junta (62, 64) entre un deflector (52, 54) de rodillo que tiene una primera superficie axial y una segunda superficie axial opuesta de una placa (30) de retención de bastidor de rodillo. La junta se empuja para que entre en contacto contra una de las superficies axiales con una fuente de fluido a presión, tal como aire comprimido. A medida que la junta se desgasta durante el funcionamiento del cuello de cilindro el fluido a presión mantiene el contacto de empuje entre la junta y la superficie axial. De forma ventajosa, la junta se aloja en una placa de retención estacionaria que está en relación axial opuesta con un deflector giratorio.
