Abstract

La presente invención describe un servidor que transmite y recibe mensajes para una capa de señalización (S) en el MMT (Transporte de Medios de Grupo de Expertos de Imágenes en Movimiento), que incluye una primera sub-capa de la capa S que produce los primeros mensajes a fin de proporcionar la información necesaria para el uso del MPEG, una segunda sub-capa de la capa S que produce los segundos mensajes a fin de proporcionar la información utilizada para suministrar los medios MPEG, y una capa de suministro (D) que realiza las entregas externas e internas de los primeros y los segundos mensajes, en donde cada uno de los primeros y los segundos mensajes incluye al menos un campo que corresponde con cada uno del tipo de mensaje, la versión, la longitud, el campo de extensión y la carga útil.
