Abstract
Se presenta un material de junta para altas temperaturas capaz de resistir temperaturas mayores a 850° F. La junta para altas temperaturas generalmente incluye un relleno inorgánico, una fibra inorgánica y un aglutinante orgánico. En algunas realizaciones el relleno inorgánico constituye el 75% al 90% del peso del material de la junta y puede incluir partículas de talco de tamaño inferior a una micra. La fibra inorgánica puede representar de 5 al 20% del peso del material de la junta y puede incluir fibra acido silícico. El aglutinante puede ser una emulsión de látex que puede estar presente en el material de la junta. El material de la junta también puede incluir aditivos como floculantes y antiespumantes.
