Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para crear una embarcación estructuralmente integrada total a partir de dos embarcaciones existentes, que comprende las etapas de: 1) proporcionar una primera embarcación usada, la primera embarcación comprende: (a) un casco, (b) un propulsor para la primera embarcación que impulsa el casco dela primera embarcación, (c) un sistema de referencia de posición para la primera embarcación que proporciona la posición de la primera embarcación, y (d) un sistema de controlador DP para la primera embarcación conectado operativamente con el primer propulsor de la primera embarcación y con el primer sistema de referencia de posición dela primera embarcación; 2) proporcionar una segunda embarcación usada que comprende: (a) un casco, (b) un propulsor para la segunda embarcación que impulsa el casco dela segunda embarcación, (c) un sistema de referencia de posición para la segunda embarcación que proporciona la posición de la segunda embarcación, (d) un sistema de controlador DP para la segunda embarcación conectado operativamente con el propulsor para la segunda embarcación y con el sistema de referencia de posición para la segunda embarcación; 3) adaptar la primera y segunda embarcación, que comprende: (i) atravesar un primer armazón entre las embarcaciones; (ii) atravesar un segundo armazón entre las embarcaciones; (iii) separar los armazones y conectar los armazones con las embarcaciones en una configuración que separe las embarcaciones; (iv) conectar el primer armazón con la primera embarcación mediante una junta universal y con la segunda embarcación mediante una conexión con bisagras; (v) conectar el segundo armazón con la segunda embarcación mediante una junta universal, y con la primera embarcación mediante una conexión con bisagras; (vi) extender cada armazón de manera ascendente en una forma en U invertida, proporcionar un espacio bajo el armazón y entre las embarcaciones, lo cual permite que una embarcación marina se coloque entre las embarcaciones y bajo los armazones; y (vii) equipar cada armazón con un cabrestante y un cabo de cabrestante para permitir la combinación de las embarcaciones y para permitir que los armazones levanten los objetos desde una posición generalmente bajo los armazones y entre las embarcaciones; 4) proporcionar un sistema de controlador DP total conectado operativamente con el sistema controlador DP para la primera embarcación y con el sistema controlador DP para la segunda embarcación, donde el sistema de controlador DP total controla directa o indirectamente uno o más de los siguientes: (i) el propulsor para la primera embarcación, (ii) el sistema de referencia de posición para la primera embarcación, (iii) el propulsor para la segunda embarcación, y (iv) el sistema de referencia de posición para la segunda embarcación.
