Abstract

Se describe un método y sistema para la creación y vinculación de objetos espaciales en 3D con información dinámica, y la visualización de dichos objetos en sistemas de información geográfica (GIS). El sistema incluye un extremo frontal para una interface de usuario, una base de datos en el extremo posterior, y una capa de aplicación que procesa la información enviada entre la interface y la base de datos. Se describe un método para la generación y descarga de anillos Keyhole Markup Language (KML). Adicionalmente, un usuario especifica una ubicación de búsqueda, y se muestra una vista del espacio disponible indicado en los edificios mediante código KML que se reúne desde la base de datos por el sistema. También se describe un método para crear, vincular y desplegar un objeto espacial en tres dimensiones, así como también un método para la generación de un vuelo visual entre varios puntos geográficos, mostrando estructuras KML durante el vuelo. Finalmente, se describe un método para mostrar una vista cardinal desde un piso de un edificio en GIS.
