Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en un motor de combustión interna, multicilíndrico, del tipo que tiene una cámara auxiliar de combustión asociada con cada cámara principal de combustión y comunicada con la misma por medio de una abertura de antorcha, caracterizadas por comprender, en combinación: un tubo multiple de escape que comprende un recubrimiento metálico doble de pared delgada, envuelto por, y espaciado dentro de, una cubierta de pared gruesa, teniendo esta cubierta paredes que definen una abertura, un tubo múltiple de admisión para suministrar una mezcla pobre aire-combustible a la cámara principal de combustión y una mezcla rica aire-combustible a las cámaras auxiliares de combustión, estando ciertas porciones de dicho tubo múltiple de admisión, en relación de intercambio térmico con respecto a la abertura de la cubierta, por lo que el calor procedente de dicho recubrimiento doble de pared delgada, actúa para calentar por lo menos una de las mezclas aire combustible, teniendo dicho recubrimiento una pared interior provista de tubos de recolección de gases de escape que conducen a una cámara de reacción de gases de escape dentro del recubrimiento, orificios de escape en el motor que conducen desde las cámaras principales de combustión, y teniendo cada uno de los orificios de escape un recubrimiento de pared delgada formado de material resistente al calor, de baja capacidad térmica, y comunicado cada uno de dichos tubos de recolección de gases de escape.
