Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para inhibrir la pérdida de reversibilidad entre los estados martensítico y austenítico en una composición metálica, que consiste en retener la composición a una temperatura superior a la temperatura de Ms mientras que está en un estado austenítico, durante un período de tiempo suficiente para reducir la pérdida de su reversibilibad, dicha temperatura de retención es tal que no hay transformación significativa de la composición metálica a una fase que experimente transformación austenítica-martensítica no reversible.
