Abstract

Un sistema para determinar la dirección del vehículo incluye un sensor de velocidad de rueda activo (aWSS), un anillo excitador para inducir un cambio en una señal del aWSS y un controlador. El controlador recibe una primera serie de señales del aWSS, las compara con una serie de señales predefinidas y determina la dirección de desplazamiento con base en la primera serie de señales que coinciden con la matriz. El controlador recibe una segunda serie de señales y determina que el anillo excitador tiene una anomalía en respuesta a que al menos una señal en la segunda serie de señales tiene una primera variación. El controlador actualiza la matriz de señales predefinidas para incluir una representación de la primera variación para crear una matriz de señales actualizadas. El controlador determina la dirección de desplazamiento basándose en una serie posterior de señales que coinciden con una de la matriz de señales predefinidas y la matriz de señales actualizadas.
