Abstract

Provided are: a metal sheet quench-hardening apparatus and a metal sheet quench-hardening method, whereby it becomes possible to prevent the deterioration in shape of a metal sheet which may occur during quench-hardening; and a steel sheet production method.ã¿¿The metal sheet quench-hardening apparatus is provided with: a cooling fluid injector which is provided on the outlet port side of a soaking area in a continuous annealing furnace and has a plurality of injection nozzles through which mists are injected onto both surfaces of a metal sheet that is conveyed continuously; and at least a pair of restraining rolls for restraining the metal sheet on both surfaces thereof in a range laying between a start point of cooling with the cooling fluid injector and an end point of the cooling.
