Abstract

La presente invención describe un vehículo comercial automotor, como camiones y autobuses, que comprende un eje auxiliar asociado a un motor auxiliar, un dispositivo de acoplamiento y/o desacoplamiento y un método de control del acoplamiento y/o desacoplamiento entre un eje de vehículos comerciales automotores y un motor auxiliar asociado al eje. En concreto, la presente invención comprende un dispositivo que acopla y/o desacopla los efectos de al menos un motor auxiliar a un eje, permitiendo que, en estado acoplado, el eje reciba tracción auxiliar del motor auxiliar o que el motor auxiliar actúe como generador de energía de frenado de forma regenerativa y, en un estado desacoplado, permite que el eje gire libremente de forma que no se produzcan pérdidas de energía por fricción de los componentes del dispositivo. La presente invención se sitúa en el campo de la ingeniería mecánica, enfocada al área de soluciones para vehículos comerciales de transporte de carga y pasajeros.
