Abstract
De acuerdo con un aspecto, se proporciona un método para determinar un valor de un parámetro de la piel para la piel de un sujeto. El método comprende recibir (510) una primera señal de sensor que se emite mediante un primer sensor de luz que se dispone para recibir luz emitida por una primera fuente de luz después de la interacción de la luz emitida con la piel. La primera señal del sensor se emite mientras la primera fuente de luz opera de acuerdo con un primer ciclo de trabajo para emitir la luz intermitentemente, y la luz emitida tiene una primera longitud de onda central. El método comprende además recibir (520) una primera señal de referencia de modulación que se relaciona con el primer ciclo de trabajo; integrar (530) una primera señal de salida de función, que resulta de una función de la primera señal de sensor y la primera señal de referencia de modulación, para determinar un primer valor integrado; determinar (540) una primera cantidad de ciclos de la luz emitida que se requiere para que el primer valor integrado exceda un primer valor umbral; y determinar (550) el valor del parámetro de la piel basado en la primera cantidad determinada de ciclos.
